Last ride of 2009
Last month Jay, Ken, and I rode around Ken's new house in Ipswich, MA. It's a beautiful area to ride, but unfortunately Jay's fixie flatted about 9 miles in.
According to Garmin I rode my bike 893.44 mi this year with a top speed of 44 mph. That's further than I drove my car, I feel so environmentally conscious.
In other news I ran my first Five-Kay - the Somerville Jingle Bell Run. The best part about this race is that the medal is also a bottle opener:

On the docket for 2010:
- 10K running race
- sprint triathlon
- conquer two VT Appalachian gaps (again)
- 2010 Josh Billings Run Aground (cycling leg) again
- ride 1500 miles or 2x the mileage I put on my car whichever is more
