First ride of 2010 & rollers (?!)
Saturday was beautiful and Sunny with the temperature rising above 40. I met Jay on the bike path and then we headed west. Some spots were icy and then we saw that Bedford wasn't plowing their part of the bike path so we rode around the Lexington area. Last year's first ride was near the end of March so it's nice to be starting earlier this time. The pace was slow but faster than the beginning of last year so I feel like I have a little bit of fitness to start with.
Just in case spring hasn't really arrived I got rollers. They feel natural and a little bit scary -- great for balance.
